Market comment & outlook
 
* Sensex and Nifty witnessed a upside of 334 and 105 points, respectively, during the week (As on 6th Feb 09--13th Feb, 09).On Monday The Sensex ended the day with a gain of 283.03 points,or 3.04% at 9,583.89 after touching a high of 9,601.56 and a low of 9,329.23.The broad-based NSE Nifty climbed 76.80 points, or 2.70% at 2,919.90 after hitting a high of 2,926.75 and a low of 2,840.15.

  • * On Tuesday The Sensex ended the day with a gain of 63.58 points or 0.66% at 9,647.47 after touching a high of     9,724.87 and a low of 9,510.50. The broad-based NSE Nifty climbed 14.60 points, or 0.50% at 2,934.50 after hitting a high of 2,957.40 and a low of 2,891.75.

  • * On Wednesday The Sensex ended the day with a loss of 28.93 points, or 0.30% at 9,618.54 after touching a high of 9,648.39 and a low of 9,459.59. The broad-based NSE Nifty fell 8.80 points, or 0.30% at 2,925.70 after hitting a high of 2,937.50 and a low of 2,877.60.

* On Thursday The Sensex ended the day with a loss of 152.71 points, or 1.59% at 9,465.83 after touching a high of 9,580.13 and a low of 9,445.54. The broad-based NSE Nifty declined 32.65 points,or 1.12% at 2,893.05 after hitting a high of 2,939.00 and a low of ,886.55.

* On Friday The Sensex ended the day with a gain of 169 points i.e 1.78%, at 9,635. Nifty gained 55 points i.e 1.9% at 2,948.
